I have tried carefully to keep the ‘hand drawn’ aspect and to preserve the beautiful fine detailing of my original ink illustration drawings.
The main character in my illustrations is a girl called ‘Cotton Sock.’ I created and developed her during the early stages of the Covid 19 pandemic.
I came across a quote from an unknown writer which read,
'I walk around like everything is fine but deep down, inside my shoe, my sock is falling off.’
Just like that Cotton Sock was born.
Her journey is a beautifully illustrated fable of resilience, courage, hope and love, for all ages.
